The edition runs artist profiles, obituaries, job listings, an art fairs calendar, a crossword drawn from our online coverage and more.
Urgent Matter has published its first "print" edition, a major milestone as we continue to grow.
As the founder and editor of Urgent Matter, it has always been a dream of mine to run a print publication, and this PDF you're receiving as a paid subscriber is a big step toward that.
Built to real tabloid spec, the July edition runs 16 pages of artist profiles, obituaries, a jobs and residencies roundup, an art fairs calendar, and a FOIA-driven scoop on NASA's plans for the Goddard research library. It's meant first as a resource for artists — the kind of work we don't always have room for on the site.
