This page hosts court records from Harry Hutchison v. Projjal Dutta and Aicon Contemporary (Index No. 537248/2025) filed in the Supreme Court of the State of New York, Kings County.

This case is separate from the ongoing lawsuit between the galleries run by brothers Projjal and Prajit Dutta over control of the Aicon name and business.

The documents include Hutchison’s October 2025 complaint accusing Aicon Contemporary owner Projjal Dutta of assault during a confrontation on April 11, 2025, at 35 Great Jones Street in Manhattan, where Dutta’s gallery shares workspace with a separate gallery business co-owned by Hutchison.

The filings also include Dutta’s verified answer denying the allegations and asserting counterclaims that Hutchison assaulted him during the same encounter and later made false statements to the New York City Police Department that led to Dutta’s arrest three days later.
